Tens of thousands of Romanians braved the cold and returned to the streets of Bucharest last night, the 13th straight day of large-scale protests in the capital. The demonstrators called on the government to resign in the wake of an attempt by MPs to water down anti-corruption laws. Chants of "Thieves! Resign!" punctuated the frigid Sunday night, and the 50,000 protesters used the lights from their mobile phones to project the blue, yellow and red colors of the Romanian flag.
