by Belgian League of Human Rights

The Belgian protest movement Constituent Association has joined with the League of Human Rights and other NGOs in the attempt to make the Constitutional Court recognize the anti-constitutionality of the law of consent to the Fiscal Compact (officially, the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance in the Economic and Monetary Union), which has been approved by the Belgian Parliament. A class action is being set up in reaction to this law, which calls into question the possibility of implementing legislation for compliance and progress of economic, social and cultural rights.
