Two migrants from Mali died in a huge fire, the latest of many, in the “Great ghetto” migrant camp between San Severo and Rignano Garganico, Puglia, Italy on March 1. Witnesses said the two didn’t manage to leave the camp in time and were consumed by the fire. They were identified by the other inhabitants of the ghetto. All others were save and evacuated from the camp, although most of them would prefer to return, as only 110 spots have been provided in shelters, which is not enough to house everyone.
