Twenty Nigerian women - victims of human trafficking and thus entitled to asylum - are being sent back to Boko Haram’s violence, in spite of the fact they’ve all obtained suspensions of their deportation orders. Despite the intervention of their lawyer and the staging of a protest outside the Ponte Galeria center of identification and expulsion, the women have already been transported to Fiumicino airport outside Rome. CILD and Antigone are calling out to Home Affairs Minister Angelino Alfano to step in and stop the deportation before it is too late.
