In the wake of the Saturday night terrorist attack in London, Prime Minister Theresa May has said more must be done to combat terror online. In a speech on Sunday, she said the internet provided "the safe space" that extremist ideology needs to breed and called on world governments to develop "international agreements that regulate cyberspace." But following the speech, technology advocacy group the Electronic Frontier Foundation said the prime minister's proposed measures would be ineffective in curbing terrorist activity.
