An innovative campaign against right-wing extremism wins the Politikaward 2015 for political communication in Germany. The idea of the campaign “Rechts gegen Rechts” (Nazis against Nazis) is to make neo-Nazis march against themselves by getting sponsors to donate a fixed sum for every covered meter of a right-wing extremist march. The money then goes to EXIT, an opt-out program for neo-Nazis and similar projects. This transforms neo-Nazi marches in Germany into the most involuntary charity marches. The campaign's website offers a toolkit with more information.
