After a week of events, Milan’s Pride Week concluded this weekend. On Sunday evening, the 30th “Festival Mix del cinema Gay Lesbian and Queer culture” premiered four movies: Heartstone, a full-length film, the short film Moonlight, the documentary Brothers of the Night, and the audience-favorite Center of My World. The Pride Parade, which is held in most big cities around the world, was an opportunity for Milanese people and CILD to stand in solidarity with the LGBTQI community, as well as to reaffirm support to refugees coming to Italy, who are often fleeing persecution in their countries.
