Through a newly introduced bill, the government wants to create different measures to further limit the rights of people who have fled to Germany. Among other things, experts strongly criticize the fact that accelerated procedures would apply to many asylum seekers' cases. "Fair administrative and judicial proceedings, as required by fundamental and human rights, cannot be guaranteed by such extremely shortened procedures, nor can the limited legal protection possibilities in case of a negative decision," said the German Institute for Human Rights. The Parliament will soon decide on the law.
