The first report by a committee of anti-discrimination experts was to be submitted to the Belgian Parliament...five years ago. This report is to be the basis of a reform of existing laws aimed at tackling certain forms of discrimination (based on age, health status, language, etc.) and inequalities that exist between men and women. In order to be submitted to and discussed in Parliament, however, the report needs to be translated into French and Dutch. Its translation is still blocked because of a lack of funds – €2,000 is said to be lacking. Welcome to Belgium!
