A church in the Netherlands has now been holding a service for more than 800 hours, to protect the Tamrazyans, an Armenian refugee family of five, from being deported. The Tamrazyans have been living in the Netherlands for nearly nine years. Under Dutch law, police are prohibited from entering places of worship during religious services. "We do all this by continuously praying, singing, listening to sermons and worshipping" Reverend Axel Wicke tweeted. Sasun Tamrazyan had to flee Armenia with his wife and their three children after receiving death threats for his political activism.
