Many Dutch nationals abroad want to vote in the referendum on the proposed Intelligence and Security Act. The municipality of The Hague sent 54,000 registration forms this week to Dutch people living abroad so that they will be able to vote. This is a much higher number than for the referendum on the European Association Agreement with Ukraine. Then, only 16,000 Dutch nationals abroad registered. The referendum is held on 21 March 2018, together with the municipal elections.
