A group of privacy organisations has initiated a lawsuit against the Dutch state because of the "risk profiling of unsuspected Dutch citizens". The suit targets the System Risk Indication (SyRI) of the government, with which citizens are subjected to a risk analysis. The law allows all kinds of data to be taken into account: financial data, sickness data, integration data, health insurance data and educational data. With this, large-scale personal data of Dutch citizens is combined and analyzed to discover potential fraudsters.
