The Dutchbat veterans who made a claim against the Dutch state because they were sent on an "impossible mission" to Srebrenica, are now also demanding damages. More than two hundred veterans are seeking 22,000 EUR per person, amounting to 4.5 million EUR in total. The veterans previously demanded restoration of honor and apologies. According to their lawyer, Michael Ruperti, enough is enough for the veterans. He states that the veterans wanted a conversation with the Ministry of Defense on the matter, but that this conversation never took place.
