Germany has extradited the prime suspected in the murder of Bulgarian journalist Viktoria Marinova. Severin Krasimirov, who was arrested last week in a German town near Hamburg, was connected to the crime after his DNA matched that found at the crime scene. Marinova was attacked while jogging in a park in her hometown of Ruse on 6 October. She was raped, beaten and died of suffocation. She had been investigating stories of corruption by Bulgarian officials, though prosecutors have thus far maintained that they've found no evidence of a link between the attack and her work.
