"Would you agree if Lithuania joined other EU countries in a refugee aid program and helped people fleeing from war, persecution and human rights violations?" was asked to 1,005 respondents in a public opinion poll commissioned by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Fifty-one percent said yes, 23 percent said no, while 26 percent did not have an opinion on the issue. Lithuanians would prefer helping vulnerable refugees (3.9 out of 5), women (3.5 out of 5), and families (3.4 out of 5).
