Founded in Florence in 1957, Arci was created with a view to anti-fascism and solidarity. For 60 years, its members worked to promote values such as mutualism, social justice, liberty, laicity and solidarity in Italy. They offer information through training about the story of the mafia, of the partisan fights in the country, and about the values promoted by the Italian Constitution. Its president, Francesca Chiavacci, celebrated the event in the Palazzo Montecitorio with a powerful speech that retraced Arci’s history and thanked everyone who contributed to its success over the years.
