In mid-November, the UN Committee against Torture (CAT) will hold its 62nd session, during which the Italian government will present its report on the implementation of the Convention against Torture. Liberties member Antigone has written a shadow report - focusing on the new law against torture, the situation in prisons and immigration detention center - and will be in Geneva to present it before the Committee and engage in discussion with the authorities.
