Italy's report on the national human rights situation is being examined at the Human Right Committee on March 9 and 10, in order for the Committee to evaluate the country's progress in implementing the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The Italian Coalition for Civil Rights and Freedom and Antigone are in Geneva to present their shadow report for the Committee's consideration. The report address major issues, such as the law on citizenship, the stepchild adoption or the massive migrants expulsions and the affair of the 48 repatriated Sudanese.
