Liberties' latest course on our e-learning platform Knowledge Hub is a standalone crash course on how to build a strategic communications campaign around human rights issues. It will introduce you to basic principles based on the so-called G.A.M.E. Plan methodology. The G.A.M.E. Plan walks you through 1) Goal setting, 2) Audience and segmentation, 3) Messaging, 4) Engagement strategies.
Who is this course aimed it? The course is meant for entry-level communications staff, or for staffers who work in different fields (advocacy, legal or development) and want a better understanding of how communications work.
What format will it take? The course content is delivered through a series of short videos, with additional guidance and examples in text, as well as quizzes you can work through to check how much you’ve learnt.
How much time should I allocate? Each unit has a video of roughly 5 minutes in length, followed by a short quiz on the content of that unit, meaning the entire course can be completed carefully in roughly 30 - 40 minutes. You will receive a diploma certifying your training within one month of completing the course.
