Far-right protests in the German city of Chemnitz "have no place in our country," Chancellor Angela Merkel said. The two days of far-right street violence left several people injured and one German man dead after he was stabbed to death early on Sunday. A Syrian man and an Iraqi man have been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter in connection with the stabbing. Following the death, some far-right protesters were accused of hunting foreigners in street mobs, while others were seen with Nazi banners and giving the outlawed straight-arm salute.
