The Breakthrough of the Year category at the fourth annual National Equality and Diversity Awards was swept by "Baltic Pride 2016: The March for Equality," which attracted a record number of participants last year. There were 10 categories in total, including awards for contributions to gender equality, for fostering national dialogue, for overcoming obstacles for people with disabilities, for being the most active in the media concerning equality and diversity, as well as for other achievements in promoting equality and diversity in the country.
