Earlier this week, almost 100 Jewish graves in a town near Strasbourg, France, were desecrated with swastikas. It marks the latest ina series of anti-Semitic attacks across France in the last year, and President Emmanuel Macron was quick to visit the town of Quatzenheim, where the attack occurred, to offer his support to the community. Anti-Semitic attacks increased by 74 percent from 2017, when there were 311 attacks, to 2018, which saw 541 registered attacks. In addition to the French government, the Council of Europe has also condemned the latest attack.
