Neo-Nazis marching down the main streets are now a common sight on Lithuanian public holidays. Nationalist organizations celebrated the Day of Restoration of Independence, on March 11, with racist, anti-Semitic and other hateful slogans and banners, black "uniforms" and faces obscured by scarves and dark glasses. Unfortunately, Lithuanian political leaders have yet to condemn these depressing processions.
