Following last week's deadly attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, which left 50 people dead, the country’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has called for a global fight to root out racist right-wing ideology. Talking about the rise of right-wing extremism she said that there was a responsibility "to weed it out where it exists and make sure that we never create an environment where it can flourish". She underlined that she would make it a global call while reflecting on the fact that the attack was masterminded by an Australian national.
