Even though the number of refugees is growing, the already difficult financial situation of psychosocial treatment centers in Germany is getting worse. The country has about 30 treatment centers for refugees and victims of torture. According to their own estimates, they can only cover about 15 percent of the currently required needs. Amnesty International asks Germany to act immediately in order to comply with the EU Reception Conditions Directive it is legally bound to.
