For the first time in the history of Baltic Pride in Vilnius, its organizers, the Lithuanian Gay League (an LGBT rights organization) met no opposition from the city's officials. LGL, which previously had to fight tooth and nail for its right to freedom of assembly, was not formally obstructed in any way when arranging the time and place of the event with the city's authorities. The parade and the festival will take place on June 18, 2016 - you're welcome to join in and celebrate it together with us!
