More than 200 migrants are feared dead after their boats sank off the coast of Libya, Spanish aid organization Proactiva Open Arms says. Five bodies, all young men who appeared to have drowned, were recovered floating near two capsized boats, each of which can hold over 100 people. The aid groups fears that up to 240 migrants may have died as boats are often overloaded by smugglers. The International Organization for Migration says more than 20,000 migrants have arrived in Italy so far in 2017, and 559 people are estimated to have died or gone missing en route.
