Polish police last Wednesday carried out raids on women's organizations in Warsaw, Gdańsk, Łódź and Zielona Góra. The two targeted organisations, the Women’s Rights Centre and Baba, help victims of domestic violence and participated in anti-government protests this week. The two groups have denounced the raids as the latest attempt by Polish authorities to intimidate them and hamper their work.
