As the law on living wills and euthanasia will finally be discussed in Parliament today, April 19, the Associazione Luca Coscioni, which has been fighting for years for patients requesting euthanasia, will be leading several protests all around Italy. Indeed, the Italian law on living wills, euthanasia and assisted suicide is one of the most restrictive, with euthanasia considered as murder and doctors practicing it punished with prison sentences.
