The Erri De Luca Foundation, along with Casetta Rossa, the Baobab experience and Chef Rubio, together launched the 'Pasto Sospesso' campaign on February 2 to help feed immigrants and underprivileged persons in Rome. The initiative is based on the caffè sospeso custom of paying for an extra coffee so that someone who can't afford one later on doesn't miss out. Erri De Luca and Chef Rubio will compete to prepare a meal valued at five euros, and it will be sold for donation to the campaign.
