Three Lithuanian policemen were fired after torturing a man detained for disturbing the peace. The man, who was drunk and rowdy, was handcuffed behind his back and had his hands held up with a rope for nearly an hour. These actions were recorded by the cameras in the police station. Although the officers were fired, for reasons unknown, both the police and the Prosecutor's Office decided not to launch a pre-trial investigation into the matter. The detainee hasn't tried to seek damages yet.
