So far 222 assaults at refugee shelters were registered in Germany for 2015. Their aim was to destroy the shelters or to injure people. There has been a strong rise in the number of assaults from January to November, but only four cases led to convictions and eight to impeachment. This is the Result of an investigation by a German newspaper that evaluated publicly available data.
