After the demonstrations held in January across Italy in support
of gay rights and the civil unions bill, another protest will be held in Rome on Saturday, March 5. The supporters of LGBT rights, different human
rights associations, organizations and other participants will march in the
streets to voice their opinions about the current situation of LGBT rights: the (watered-down) civil unions law has finally been passed, but Italy still remains a culturally homophobic country and
there is a lot to be done to change public opinion. Wake up Italy, it is equal rights o'clock!
