Cuarenta y un años después del histórico referendum sobre el divorcio, el parlamento italiano ha reformado la ley. A partir de ahora, el lapso de tiempo obligatorio entre la separación y el divorcio se reduce de 3 años a 1 año y si el divorcio es de mutuo consenso, a 6 meses. Esto tampoco se verá alterado si la pareja tiene hijos menores. La reforma llega tras diez años de debate parlamentario.
