E' possibile proporre audio e video con un rilevante impatto sociale e i temi dei concorrenti di quest'anno vanno dalle questioni carcerarie all'ambiente. Sono state presentate 188 opere provenienti da sette paesi diversi. Durante la cerimonia, per la prima volta verrà attribuito un premio sociale per la migliore campagna web.
