Thousands of Czechs protested recently against Norway's social services, holding posters that said things like "Norway tortures Czech children." The demonstration outside the embassy in Prague was in support of people like Eva Michalakova. Her two sons were taken from her in 2011 and have spent years in foster care, despite Norwegian police shelving the abuse case against her with no charges. Demonstrations also took place in Oslo, Vilnius, London, Dublin and Stockholm. "Countries are protesting against children being taken from their citizens," said one of the organizers.
