Two separate attacks on migrants, which left several people injured in the state of Saxony-Anhalt this weekend, are being investigated by German police. Two men assaulted two Afgan teenegers in Hasselfelde, while in Halberstadt five drunk Germans attacked three Somalis who were on their way home. Police stated they are investigating, and will make charges of incitement and assault in both cases, although no arrests have yet been made. The seemingly racially motivated attacks have come at a time when tensions over migrants in Germany are high.
