Some 10,000 people marched in the streets of Brussels on 25 February as part of the "Human Wave for solidarity and humanity" protest. The protesters called for more humane asylum policies and reminded politicians that if Brussels did not turn into a "new Calais", it is only because of the work of hundreds of volunteers from the Refugee Support Civic Platform.
