A young woman from Senegal, who left her country when she was 12, has been forced by the police to reside in the same house with her father and brother, who often beat her in the past, or move to a migrant detention center. At the time of her forced relocation, she was in the process of obtaining her passport, but held firm in her refusal to live with her relatives. Now, for what seems to be a bureaucratic problem, she must risk expulsion from Italy, just as all the world celebrates International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
