The organizers of the report published in celebration of International Workers' Day note that the Lithuanian labor market is quite homogenous: migrants, refugees and asylum seekers comprise less than 1% of the labor market, while ethnic minorities make up around 15.9%. People do not consider discrimination in work relations on the basis of ethnicity or nationality to be a serious problem. The reason lies in the fact that most people fail to appreciate what discrimination really is and do not think that they may one day also number among its victims.
