Data people gave while gaining information and advice about their health on the thuisarts.nl (generalpractioners.nl) website were unintentionally gathered with tracking cookies and shared with third parties. In September, the Dutch College of General Practitioners (NHG) received a warning about sensitive details being shared with third parties. Only one month later, at a second notice, measures were taken. According to NHG, the software installing the cookies has been deleted and measures were taken to prevent this from happening again. It is unknown how many people have been affected.
