A Trump-style ban on migration from mainly Muslim countries would be supported by a majority of Europeans, a poll conducted in 10 EU countries shows. The poll of 10,000 respondents, conducted by UK-based think thank Chatham House, shows that 55% of those surveyed agreed with the ban, 25% neither agreed nor disagreed, and 20% disagreed with it. The survey took place before the US president's executive order was announced. In Poland, 71% of people agreed with the ban, as did 65% in Austria, 64% in Hungary and Belgium, and 61% in France. Chatham House called the findings "striking and sobering."
