Due migranti originari del Mali sono morti in un incendio avvenuto il primo marzo, l'ultimo dei tanti che si sono verificati nel "Gran ghetto" per migranti tra San Severo e Rignano Garganico, in Puglia. Testimoni hanno dichiarato che i due non sono riusciti a lasciare il campo in tempo e sono stati intrappolati dal fuoco. Sono stati identificati da altri residenti del ghetto. Tutti gli altri si sono salvati e sono stati evacuati dal campo, anche se la maggior parte di loro vorrebbe tornare, poiché gli unici 110 posti messi a disposizione in alternativa non sono sufficienti per tutti.
