Il governo polacco ha presentato un disegno di legge sul gratuito patrocinio e sull'accesso all'informazione legale. La legge, annunciata per la prima volta dal Primo Ministro polacco Ewa Kopacz, è una novità per il sistema polacco. La Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights ha espresso una reazione mista al progetto di legge: "HFHR condivide l'idea di regolamentare la questione del gratuito patrocinio e dell'accesso all'informazione legale attraverso disposizioni di legge, ma nello stesso tempo esprimiamo la nostra valutazione critica delle singole disposizione introdotte nel disegno di legge."
