Il 19 novembre è stato presentato ad Utrecht l'ultimo monitoraggio sulle donne professoresse. Il monitoraggio mostra che la quota di docenti donne è leggermente aumentata al 17.1% negli ultimi anni in Olanda. Di questo passo, soltanto a metà del secolo si sarà davvero raggiunta l'uguaglianza di genere nel mondo accademico. Secondo la Rete Nazionale Olandese delle Donne Docenti (LNVH), il divario non può essere spiegato dalla mancanza di donne qualificate tra le ricercatrici universitarie. Circa l'83% di tutte le poltrone che si liberano potrebbe essere occupato senza problemi da una donna.
