Il Gay Pride di Amsterdam del 2016 si focalizzerà sull'Europa, per questo si chiamerà EuroPride. Quest'anno il tema è join your freedom, fell free to join us. L'obiettivo è mettere in luce la discriminazione e l'accettazione delle persone LGBTI in Europa. La Commissione Europea questa volta contribuirà a veicolare il messaggio. Tra i partecipanti ci saranno una barca marocchina, quella del Madrid Pride e "Lady Gaga Ucraina," la cantante pop Kamaliya. Ci sarà anche una barca sportiva sponsorizzata dall'Adidas; i diritti delle persone LGBTI sono ancora una questione delicata in ambito sportivo.
