Il vice Primo Ministro Meglena Kuneva ha annunciato di recente che i rifugiati e i richiedenti asilo in Bulgaria saranno sottoposti a sanzioni se non mandano i loro bambini a scuola o se rifiutano un'offerta di lavoro. "Se i rifugiati vogliono esercitare tutti i diritti che la legge bulgara offre, devono anche adempiere agli obblighi - i loro bambini devono frequentare la scuola e se viene fatta loro una proposta di lavoro, devono accettarla," ha dichiarato la Kuneva all'agenzia stampa bulgara BTA.
