E' il terzo caso in cui un figlio di una coppia omosessuale ottiene il riconoscimento del certificato di nascita dallo stato italiano (i due atti precedenti sono stati registrati a Torino e Roma). La Rete Lenford - un gruppo di avvocati per i diritti LGBTI - ha accolto con favore la notizia: "E' un atto pionieristico, anche se è solo il riconoscimento di uno status genitoriale acquisito all'estero," ha dichiarato il presidente.
