W dniu 10 grudnia, w Dzień Praw Człowieka, kilkudziesięciu młodych ludzi zebrało się w Bukareszcie przed posterunkiem policji, słynącym w ostatnich latach ze stosowania przemocy wobec obywateli. W wyniku policyjnych nadużyć jedna osoba zmarła wiosną tego roku, a w zeszłym miesiącu doszło tam do pobicia dziennikarza, który filmował brutalne zachowania policjantów wobec młodego mężczyzny na ulicach Bukaresztu. Przekaz demonstracji był jasny: STOP PRZEMOCY! Komendant posterunku zapewnił protestujących, że przypadki nadużyć są wyjaśniane.
