Założyciel niemieckiego ruchu antyislamistycznego Pegida, Lutz Bachmann, został oskarżony przed sądem w Dreźnie o stosowanie mowy nienawiści. Bachmann nazywał uchodźców na facebooku "bydłem" i "ścierwem", nawołując do nienawiści rasowej. W okolicy Drezna aresztowano też pięcioro podejrzanych o atak na hostele migrantów. Zostali oskarżeni o przygotowywanie aktów terroru powiązanych z Pegidą. "Śledczy podejrzewają czterech mężczyzn i kobietę w wieku 18-40 lat o stosowanie przemocy wobec migrantów. Marsze organizowane przez Pegidę przyciągają ostatnio tysiące zwolenników w Niemczech.
